Specializing in Resort Master Design™, TAG Studio has revolutionized the resort design industry. Led by TAG Galyean, who gained recognition for breathing new life into the pool and spa at the famed Greenbrier Resort, TAG Studio’s resort designs are considered living theater, defined by their attentiveness to all aspects of the aesthetic experience. In addition to The Greenbrier, TAG’s work can be seen in some of the finest resorts in the world, including The Broadmoor, The Don CeSar Beach Resort, Thibiant Day Spa of Beverly Hills, and Casa Palmera Spa at Pebble Beach.
In 2008, TAG partnered with Classic Leather, the oldest leather furniture specialist in the U.S., to design an exclusive line of resort-inspired furniture for the residential market. Sporting a luxurious Western theme, the new line demanded similarly luxurious, yet comfortable, marketing materials to announce its debut at the World Market Center in Las Vegas.
TAG and Classic Leather teamed up with Bell Design Studio to develop a full product catalog, debut event invitation and product hang-tags for retail display. Striving for a clean and classic look, Erica Bell drew inspiration for the pieces from the colors and materials featured in the products themselves, infused with a blend of western-themed art and texture, for a subtle hint of the Wild West with a sophisticated flair.
The mutual respect and creative energy between Bell Design, TAG and the team at Classic Leather resulted in contemporary pieces true to the casual spirit, functionality and luxurious comfort of the furniture itself. Thanks to a reciprocal appreciation for great design within their respective media, TAG was able to clearly articulate his vision for each piece and allow Erica to bring his vision to life.
